Supporting Us

A little can go a long way.

There are many different opportunities to give back to the school for the direct benefit of our students, both present and future. Explore the options below or get in touch with OPGA to discuss your preferred approach.

The generosity of our benefactors allows Peninsula Grammar to be a leader in the educational field, continuing to advance with exceptional academic opportunities, capital expansion and state of the art facilities that are presently enjoyed by all our students and staff at the school.

Donations

All donations, no matter their size or form are important to the school and OPGA. Whether you give time, a financial donation or your expertise, our alumni and school community are incredibly grateful.

Our extensive reunion program, networking events, alumni speaker program and careers days are the primary drivers for bringing people back to our school – either in person or virtually. The opportunity to remain linked to the PGS community is further enhanced by the variety of sporting clubs, programs, social media connections, tours and social activities run by OPGA.

Opportunities to give back:

  • General financial donation to OPGA/PGS to be used to support the students, projects and initiatives that need it the most

  • Donation to affiliated sporting clubs:

  • -  Old Peninsula Football Club

  • -  Old Peninsula Soccer Club

  • -  Old Peninsula Cricket Club

  • Donation (financial or otherwise) to the boarding houses – Jaffray House or Heather Reilly House

  • Contribution towards the Stephen Longley Scholarship (see the Longley Scholarship page for further information)

  • Time/Expertise – Become a mentor and offer your time as a guest speaker for junior, middle, pre-senior or senior school students

  • Sponsor an event such as the OPGA Year 12 lunch, Careers Day or PGS community initiative

  • Donate art or assets

An alternative is to leave a lasting legacy in your will, by donating a gift or bequest that will benefit generations to come. So many conversations we have with alumni revolve around the influence of generations that have gone before – teachers, mentors, coaches. Your bequest would make an unforgettable difference in the lives of future generations and directly impact the opportunities and experiences that can be offered to students.

Whatever your contribution, your generosity allows OPGA to continue to fulfil our mission of ‘giving back’ and for this, we are exceptionally grateful.
