Continue your passion for soccer with the OPSC.
Old Peninsula Soccer Club was established in 2011 to provide an opportunity for past students of Peninsula Grammar to play soccer with other past students in a friendly and social environment.
The Club helps maintain links between Peninsula Grammar and its alumni through soccer, ensuring that Old Peninsula Grammar Association is relevant in their lives. The Club also extends Membership to the local community which aims to ensure the ongoing success and growth of the club at all levels.
In September 2011, a committee comprising of students from the Class of 2009 and 2010 was formed, and the foundations of TOPSA Soccer Club were built. This group of former students, Joshua Sinclair (2010), Matthew Smart (2010), Michael Cornell (2009), and Abdul Hafiz Rozali (2009) worked tirelessly over the 2011 Spring/Summer to ensure that there was going to be a Boys Soccer team up and running for the 2012 Season.
OPGA then provided substantial financial backing for the club, while Peninsula Grammar allowed us to use their facilities for training and matches.
Peninsula Grammar's first ever Old Alumni Girl's team was created in early 2013. The Peninsula Old Girls competed in the Bayside FA Women's Premier League in 2013, and was comprised of mostly former students.
The club is seeking players, supporters and sponsors each season and welcomes players of all skills and abilities to the Detmold.
