Spotlight on Alumni today features Adam Wesley (Class of 1981). From attending Peninsula Grammar in ’81 to leading the creation of countless new opportunities in the PGS Music Department, Adam Wesley has made an inspirational mark on many. During his schooling years, Adam was a member of the Prefect Body and Football Team, displaying strong leadership which is still evident today.
A gifted musician with a love of teaching, these past few years have seen Adam play an integral role in the creation of the Year 5 Band Program, inspiring young future musicians every year. He has led the renowned Stage Band to numerous podium wins at the ‘Generations in Jazz Competition’. More recently his passion for music helped pave the way for the Stand Band to take out 1st Place for B Division ‘Best in State’ at the Victorian All State Jazz Championships.
Adam’s humble leadership and exceptional support of each of his students have gained him the respect and love of many throughout the community. Like the alumni who have gone before, students at Peninsula Grammar are truly lucky and honoured to be able to learn from and be in the presence of such an incredible mentor and musician. Well done Wes and thank you!
