New Chaplain Announcement

New School Chaplain – Malcolm Woolrich

Peninsula Grammar is delighted to welcome Malcolm Woolrich to the role of School Chaplain. Malcolm brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his new position. He was ordained as a priest in the Anglican Church of Australia in 2013, the same year he was ordained as a deacon.

His journey in ministry began at St Michael’s Anglican Church in Carlton North, where he served from 2011 to 2012. Since 1991, Malcolm has been a devoted member of St Columb’s Anglican Church in Hawthorn, where he has taken on various roles including vestry member, church warden, and active participant in children and youth ministries.

Currently, Malcolm serves as the Chaplain of Melbourne Grammar School, Wadhurst, a position he has held since 2013. In this role, he is responsible for the pastoral care of 370 boys and staff. His teaching portfolio includes Philosophy, Ethics, and Religion, as well as a Year 10 Commerce elective in 2023. Additionally, Malcolm conducts Chapel services and assemblies, enriching the spiritual life of the school community.

We are excited to have Malcolm join our community on November 11, 2024, and we look forward to the positive and spiritual impact he will have on our students and staff.
