On the 8 of March, Peninsula hosted an International Women’s Day breakfast with four alumni speakers including Emily Lee ’03 (midwife), Angela Scundi ’04 (performer/singer),Tara Godden ’11 (ambulance paramedic) and Amy Burton ’05 (lawyer). The theme this year was ‘break the bias’. Led by the School’s Director of Respectful Relationships Suzanne Penhall, the panel session was both thought provoking and inspiring. Our speakers shared their own stories since leaving school and how their experiences, mentors and careers have shaped their lives. Thank you to all involved and especially Emily, Angela, Tara and Amy for being so open and authentic with the audience. We hope to see you back at school soon!
