Reflecting on Our Journey so far in 2024

Dear Alumnae and Alumni,

As we close another term, I find myself reflecting on the remarkable journey Peninsula Grammar continues to travel.  These past weeks have been filled with challenges and excitement, and our students remain our source of inspiration.

Term 2:  A Triumph

As we bid farewell to Term 2, we take a moment to appreciate the remarkable accomplishments of our students and reflect on the memorable events that have illuminated the past few months.

Our adventurous Year 3 and 4 students embarked on captivating adventures to Portsea and Boneo during their respective camps. Engaging in a diverse array of activities, they forged enduring memories together.

Turning our attention to the splendid Jazz Week, our gifted students enthralled audiences at Generations in Jazz, securing two national titles. This outstanding achievement is truly commendable and well-deserved.

During our Mother’s Day Breakfast, Kara Richards an alumna from the Class of 2005, graced us as a guest speaker. She shared her inspiring journey as a high-performance athlete and a mother.

Meanwhile, the Year 12 VCE Theatre Studies class captivated viewers with their rendition of “The Elephant’s Graveyard.” Their unwavering commitment breathed life into the poignant narrative, leaving a lasting impact.

In the realm of Cross Country, Peninsula Grammar excelled. ‘Country’ House clinched first place at our House Cross Country event. Our students demonstrated great determination, achieving standout performances at the AGSV Junior Schools Championships.

Staying Connected

As you venture into new chapters in your lives, remember that our OPGA family stands ready to support you. Participate in our engagement opportunities, stay connected, and know that you’re always part of our School community.

Wishing you continued success,

Stuart Johnston
