From The Archives: Whatever Happened To?

Have you ever wandered through the school grounds and wondered, ‘What happened to that old dinosaur from the Junior School playground?’ Or perhaps you recall the clear, ringing sound of the school bell, a sound that once marked the beginning and end of the day. Maybe you've noticed the absence of the sundial that used to stand proudly in the school gardens until the mid-1980s.

These objects were once a part of the school's landscape and daily life. Over time these objects have disappeared, quietly removed, or simply vanished without a trace. Where did they go? Why were they moved? And, most importantly, could they still be found?

We are reaching out to our alumni, staff, and the broader community to help solve this mystery. Do you have any photographs of these objects in their prime? Do you recall when they were last seen, or do you know where they might be now?

The school Archives is on a mission to uncover the fate of these beloved objects. With your help, we hope to piece together their stories, preserving not just the physical objects, but the memories and traditions they represent. So, please take a trip down memory lane with us by digging through old photo albums, searching your recollections, and sharing your stories. Let's bring these pieces of our school's history back into the light, where they belong. Together, we can solve the mystery of whatever happened to the Junior School dinosaur, the school bell, and the sundial.
