A Historic Foundation Day: Welcoming Our 5th Principal, Leandra Turner
In February, we celebrated 64 years of Peninsula Grammar and the commissioning of our 5th Principal, Leandra Turner. Foundation student Alan Kemp marked the occasion by presenting Leandra with The Foundation of The Peninsula School book - a symbolic reminder of our founding years and ever-evolving approach to education. We were also joined by Foundation guests, Brook Miskin '67, Bob Arthur '66, Warwick Barton '66 and Richard Stockdale '65.
It was also wonderful to see some other very familiar faces back in Ansett Hall, as we honoured our 2024 alumni high achievers. Congratulations to you all!
Whether you were here in 1961 or 2025, our shared history and strong school spirit unite us. With Leandra at the helm, we look forward to an exciting year ahead for our PGS alumni and school community!

OPGA is proud to present a truly special episode in our Spotlight on Alumni series, celebrating Foundation Day and four remarkable alumni – Richard Starkins 1969, Alan Kemp - Foundation Student/1967, Brook Miskin 1967, and Richard Stockdale 1965. Richard, Alan, Brook, and Rick take a heartfelt journey down memory lane, sharing their reflections on their schooldays and what Foundation Day means to them. This one is close to our hearts—we hope it resonates with you as deeply as it did with us in bringing it to life.
