2022 OPGA Connecting Careers Day‍

Together with the PGS Careers team, OPGA hosted the 2022 Connecting Careers Day on the 16th of March, inviting 15 alumni and current staff to speak to students about their paths since leaving school. The Year 10, 11 and 12's heard from a range of speakers in a panel format (virtual and in person), covering industries including the Airforce, Sales, Law, Medicine/Health, Hospitality, Consulting and Engineering just to name a few! Prefect leaders moderated each of the panels and did a wonderful job encouraging the student cohorts to ask questions throughout the session. The stories and lessons shared were inspirational to us all and we could have easily extended each of the panels for another hour given the level of engagement from our student audience! On behalf of the senior school students, we would like to thank all the speakers, moderators, students and coordinators who contributed to the success of the day.
